Temane Designs is run by husband and wife team, Ron & Lotta Palmer and offers cross-stitch patterns with unique motifs from around the world.

After years of travelling and working in various countries we wanted to share all the wonderful images we had accumulated along the way.

We developed a software program that converts images to cross-stitch patterns. The patterns are detailed and use around 40 colours on average. They are printed in black-and-white with easy to read symbols and references to DMC colour numbers.

The result is a finished project that is hard to distinguish from a photograph!

New patterns are included on a regular basis offering you unique designs from regions as diverse as Southern Africa, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia and North America.

The word "Temane" by the way, means diamond in Tsetswana, the language spoken in Botswana.
